Job Title: Leasing Officer Germany

Department: Leasing Management

Reports To: Country Manager Germany

 

Position Summary: You will be a key commercial team member within the German team. You will be responsible and accountable for the performance of the existing 2.3 million square meter operating portfolio in Germany. You will be responsible for all leasing activities in close cooperation with our Market Officers, Property Management and other relevant departments within Company.

Our Client will support your professional growth by giving you additional opportunities to develop land/build projects, provide excellent services to our customers and think strategically to optimize marketing and expansion activities across Germany.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

– Managing the performance and growth of the existing operating portfolio including the following main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Leasing/releasing of existing properties and future developments
  • Create strategies, budgets, forecasts and reports for all leasing activities within Germany
  • Develop and maintain strong broker relationships throughout the regional/national market; willingness to show vacant space as needed in line with our handbook
  • Provide write-ups and summaries of the portfolio for external and internal requests
  • Cooperate closely with the Development Department, Project Management, Property Management and Finance throughout all mentioned responsibilities
  • Working cross-border with colleagues in other countries to manage international opportunities and customers
  • Representing the Company at various social events, professional fairs and conferences
  • Capability to talk consistently, effectively and knowledgeable about the Company, its Ways of Working and the value the Company adds to its customers and all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop a credible and knowledgeable personal brand that instills credibility and confidence in our Client’s customers and allows the Company to maximize our business winning opportunities
  • Become a logistics real estate industry ‘figure’, recognized as one of the best in class operators in their field and playing a key role in the best in class team. This also requires a strong understanding of the supply chain industry and the internal/external pulls/pushes to this business

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in related discipline: Real-Estate
  • At least four years’ experience in a relevant commercial role related to the real-estate industry
  • Experience in negotiating leasing contracts in real estate, either from an owner or user standpoint
  • Extensive experience in dealing with complex projects and keeping the overview as well as creating an optimal and solid deal structure
  • Knowledge and an existing personal network in the logistic real estate market, industry and relevant local authorities is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English

requires so as well as is able to adjust and/or extend working times and schedule accordingly

  • Influencing skills: ability to build a strong relationship with your colleagues which has to result in them being aware of Marketing and Communications priorities, opportunities and added value

Market Officer Southern Germany

Position Summary: You will contribute to the further, significant growth of our German business by focusing on the expansion and development of our activities in Southern Germany. This will be done by developing land/build projects, providing excellent services to our customers and thinking strategically to optimize marketing and expansion activities

Job Title: Market Officer Southern Germany

Department: Market Officer

Reports To: Country Manager Germany

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate real estate opportunities and recommend investments for internal approval
  • Deliver the successful implementation of real estate projects. This will include among other things the coordination and lead of required multi-disciplinary inputs
  • Negotiate land and building acquisitions/disposals, BTS transactions, leasing and releasing contracts with corporate clients
  • Regular attendance and knowledgeable contribution to on-site meetings for marketing, development delivery and customer pitches
  • Leadership of external teams – construction (product delivery) and marketing to give direction and consultation on the Company values and provide commercial calls to continually provide the best market competitive position and value sustainability
  • Work closely with and through internal stakeholders: Due Diligence, Property Management, Project Management and Accounting Departments to achieve the objectives of the business
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the design and construction aspects of our product and be able to relay those to our customers cohesively and tailored to their specific interests
  • Be able to talk consistently and effectively about the Company, its Ways of Working and the value the Company adds
