Operations Site Manager

Requirements:

Educated to degree level in engineering, manufacturing, business or finance

Proven leadership with at least 5 years’ operational management experience at a senior management level

Successful track record of leading and improving operational and bottom- line performance

Highly competent in building and developing teams and individuals ensuring long term business sustainability and resilience

Health and Safety champion with track record of embedding H&S culture in the business.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Fluent in English and Polish essential.

Knowledgeable German is desirable Performance driven, proficient in P&L management within a manufacturing environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and mentor staff.

Committed to continuous improvement, well-versed in Lean manufacturing and sourcing and other business improvement methodologies.

Highly organised, analytical, excellent planning skills and self-motivated.

Ability to travel and possess a full, clean driving license.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Site Manager will be responsible for all departments based on the site with production being their primary focus. Ensure delivery of world-class standards of manufacturing and service to our customer base whilst supporting the profitable growth of the business. To act as a champion of the Company Values.

Cooperating with and support the compliance management system and encouraging personnel to do the same

Developing personnel awareness of product compliance obligations

Actively participate in corrective actions from concerns or internal audits.

Ensuring that all personnel within their control are complying with the organisations product compliance obligations, policies, processes and procedures

Integrating product compliance obligations into existing business practices and procedures in their area of responsibility and encouraging a compliance culture

Encouraging their personnel to raise product compliance concerns.

Maintaining if applicable the product compliance registers and maintaining product certification.

Ensure the Health & Safety and wellbeing of all people onsite ensuring the organisation complies with all legal obligations at all times.

Lead, empower and develop the people onsite

Ensure that the Company’s values are communicated and adhered to consistently across the site.

Maintain and improve communication and staff engagement on the site, promote a “Can do attitude”
