Key Purpose:
We are seeking a high-calibre Finance Director to join our dynamic leadership team. The Finance Director will play a key strategic leadership role in driving the continued long-term growth of the business. The new Finance Director will be responsible for developing a best-in-class finance function to support the domestic and international growth of the Group companies. We have current revenues in excess of €80m and approx. 480 employees across eight countries.
The successful candidate will combine rigorous financial stewardship credentials with first-rate business partnering skills and business acumen. The Finance Director will ensure that excellent finance processes and systems are in place to support business performance and continued organic and acquisition led growth. The Finance Director must bring significant ambition and drive to the organisation, create cross-functional relationships and to foster an entrepreneurial, creative and solution-oriented business partnering culture. On a practical level, the Finance Director must be able to contribute to high level, strategic discussions while also bringing a hands-on, operational approach. Prior experience of operating as Finance Director of a similar size business is desirable. The successful candidate will have the ability to operate at pace and to deliver value within an international setting.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Lead the finance function ensuring it serves the needs of the business strategy.
2.Operate as a business partner to the Managing Director and develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business providing appropriate support.
3.Lead the finance function with ultimate responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts by the team of financial controllers.
4.Deliver a first-class budgeting and forecasting process led by the business and financial monitoring to ensure targets are achieved.
5.Play a proactive role in cost analysis and control
6.Drive operational efficiencies across the business
7.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and statutory reporting and maintain a tight internal control environment.
8.Manage the balance sheet ensuring appropriate working capital levels are adhered to and capital investment is fully appraised and expected ROI threshold is met.
9.Play a key role in integration of the Group within the Division
10.Maintain a close and constructive relationship with Division and Group, including delivering high quality reporting, commentary and analysis
11.Maintain and develop the finance team, instilling a focus on rigorous financial discipline and fostering a business partnering culture.
12.Act as a coach and mentor while identifying and hiring talent as required.
