Real Estate Development Analyst

• Economics / Finance & Accountancy / Econometrics background
• Real Estate experience or Business/Financial advisory (minimum 2 years)
• Financial/strategy modelling experience (minimum 2 years)
• Work on proposals or business cases
• Capital planning experience desirable
• Problem solving attitude
• Excellent English essential
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Analytical and Planning Skills
• Commercial Awareness
• Team player
• Ability to remain focused in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to multitask and work to key deadlines
• Advanced Excel knowledge (what-if simulations, finance functions, nested/logical formulas, pivot tables)

SCOPE – for both residential and retail portfolios
• Drive and manage financial/strategy modelling (NPV, P&L + Cash Flow + BS impacts and comparable scenario models based on IFRS principles) and business analysis
• Take ownership of financial modelling acumen for residential and real estate activities
• Coordinate and assess alternative investment yield analyses of asset related CAPEX and development projects
• manage and control development spend with risks and opportunities, rate of return
• Forecast cashflows, project control, cost management and reporting of development and capex projects
• Manage financial models for (re) development with recommendations to CEO and Asset Director
• Investigate synergies, prepare scenario simulations to support key P&L drivers for specific areas
• Be ready to challenge senior managers and be challenged by them when delivering recommendation educate client Project Managers as to purpose of the global tools and address any queries
• deliver a standardized Project Charter for each transaction including mandated processes, milestones, deadlines and responsibilities and issue standard reports on active project status
• Driving innovations and process improvements
