Education

•Master’s degree in marketing, economics, business administration or a related field

Professional Experience (in years)

•At least 10 years’ experience in a senior marketing role within an international company, preferably in the construction industry

•Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify an issue, evaluate the situation, come up with the best possible solution

•Strategic thinking to develop terms plans to achieve the companies’ objectives.
•Curiosity, innovative thinking and creativity
•Project management skills to deliver multiple campaigns and projects, with good planning and execution skills.

•Proven success in leading and developing a team
•Focused on delivering results, highly accountable with ability to motivate the team to deliver on both strategy & short-term results
•Strong customer focus with experience leading the implementation of a customer experience programme
•Strong digital understanding, knows opportunities in digital well and has experience in leading a digital marketing agenda
•Familiar with industry standards

Languages

PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION
Provide direction, guidance and leadership to a marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans, and building awareness and positioning for the company brand and all independent brands within the Division. Oversee marketing programmes and initiatives, ensure efficient allocation of teams and resources, maintain brand standards and integrate compliance processes.

TASKS – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the Marketing Strategy and Implementation:
•Lead the development of marketing strategy, building on global and regional direction
•Create an agile marketing culture that acts on insights and responds quickly to changing market dynamics
•Lead and drive the customer experience programme
•Collaborate and drive the development of the global website platform to deliver value to customers and other stakeholders.
•Drive implementation of PIM platform to ensure accurate and up-to-date product marketing information
•Coordinate divisional marketing projects and ensure synergies are explored to improve the efficiency of marketing programme execution.
•Define short and long term ROI measures and take responsibility for delivery and evaluation of ROI on marketing activities.
Strong Focus on People and Team Development:
•Establish and lead a high performing cross-cultural marketing team
•Oversee performance for the subordinate marketing teams. Carry out the Performance Management Process – Annual Appraisal with all subordinates.
•Engage, collaborate and advise senior management teams
Be part of the Leadership:
•Member of the divisional Leadership Team, involved in setting the Business Unit strategy and driving the people agenda
•Represent the region globally to drive stronger collaboration and best practice sharing
Compliance:
•Comply with the provisions of the marketing integrity manual (MIM), integrated management system (IMS), including ISO 37301 Compliance management systems as documented in IMS Policy, the IMS Manual, and associated procedures and instructions, adhere to and promote the Group Code of Conduct and the Group Product Compliance Policy as well as Product Information Management and Adobe Experience Manager (CMS) standards.
