Electrical Engineering Energy Consultant


Ideally an electrical engineer with experience in renewable energy sources and systems, co-generation systems, bms and cost optimisation at a deep level.
Experience – must be extensive unless excellent relevance in energy and electrical cost management.
This a value-add engineering function where significant cost savings can be demonstrated to customers/asset owners and asset managers within the Real Estate sector.
The function will be to demonstrate the potential savings involved as well as improving the asset valuation by reducing the energy requirement and therefore lowering the carbon footprint of the asset. How to access and use ‘green and renewable’ energy to best effect and the benefits of deploying excess back into the grid.
The scope of the role will be to source and then engage with clients about the overall energy transformation that can be achieved as part of their sustainability program and integrate that across their asset portfolio by using existing technologies and/or devise a tangible offer where the both the cost saving and the greener aspect of their asset can and will be enhanced.

Senior Electrical Engineer with minimum 7 years’ experience

Qualifed Electrical Engineer – min.7 years experience

Requirements – Electrical Works Manager with unlimited Electrical License and SEP.
Language – Polish and English
Experience in Data Centre preferred but not essential.
R&R:
• Understand the project and contract quality and technical requirements to ensure they are communicated to
the project team.
• Review all specifications for materials or plant and ensure that materials and plant entering the project are
checked against specifications and required standards.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Supervise the process of pre-install inspection, post install inspection and precommissioning checklists
when appropriate for specific work elements.
• To document issues as they arise during the inspection process and log them into the commissioning issues
management software system for tracking and resolution.
• Contributes to plant, equipment and materials procurement processes.
• Prepare all Technical Submittals.
• Control of commissioning and start-ups.
• Generation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS) and Safety Files.
• Responsible for all sub-contractors.
• Weekly installation plans.
• The logistical needs of the schedule.
• The implementation and monitoring of the Safety requirements.
• The daily monitoring of the build quality i.e. commissioning issues OFCI / FWT issues.

To support the engineering requirements through managing & liaising with Key Project Stakeholders (Client design team, Main contractor, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, etc).
• Information reporting will be an essential activity to ensure activity targets/deadlines are met to support the project team. There will be an Engineering Task Log generated and managed by the Engineering Lead
• Familiarisation of Design/IFC specifications and drawings to fully understand the scope of the Project works. Overseeing the Co-ordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel ensuring spec compliance and as per schedule priority. This will require generation/management of Requests for Information (RFI)

• Assessment of Sub-contract and Supplier Tender returns for Technical compliance with design intent specifications.

• Management of the material procurement utilising Engineering Materials Report (EMR) by producing material take offs identifying the lead in periods and field need rates

• Management of Sub-contractors and ensuring adequate information flow to ensure works progress in line with the Project Schedule and Weekly Meeting logged.

• You will be responsible to support and coach all junior engineers assigned to the project team their development is crucial to our organisation and industry.
• There may be a requirement to attend project meetings or “White Board Activity Planning sessions. This will depend on the needs of the project and your team manager.
